Black Friday is Nov. 27, 2026, and Small Business Saturday is Nov. 28. Huntsville’s two big shopping centers had not posted holiday hours as of Nov. 1. The local season is already on the calendar, though: a Black Friday market in Big Spring Park on the night the Rocket City Tree lights, Small Business Saturday across Lowe Mill’s working studios, and three more holiday markets running to Dec. 19.

Bridge Street is an open-air center with more than 80 brands, its owner says. Parkway Place’s Santa visits start Thursday, Nov. 5, in its lower-level center court, with reservations recommended, the mall’s Santa’s Workshop page says. Hours for individual stores can differ from the center’s hours; check the store’s own page before you go.

Small Business Saturday, Nov. 28

Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment, 2211 Seminole Drive SW, holds Small Business Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., with handmade goods and artists demonstrating their work in the studios.

Downtown, Harrison Brothers Hardware on the courthouse square, 124 Southside Square, is run by the Historic Huntsville Foundation and is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday, its website says; call 256-536-3631 for holiday hours.

  • Wintergreen Holiday Market, Huntsville Botanical Garden: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 1, indoors in the Propst Guest Center, Isenberg Grand Hall and Carriage House, with local and regional artisans, makers and bakers. A shopping pass is required. Details.

  • Yule Y’all Christmas Market and Spirit Sampling, Lowe Mill: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, with more than 100 vendors, the 153 working studios, live music, local spirit samples and the lighting of the mill’s water tower at 5 p.m. Parking is $10 a car. Details.
