Bakeries in Huntsville: downtown, Airport Road and Providence

Three of Huntsville’s bakeries are downtown, two of them on Church Street NW and one on Jefferson Street. Airport Road has Edgar’s and Baby Bite Bake Shop, Edgar’s has a second store at the Village of Providence, Cutes and Cakes bakes at Stovehouse and Krispy Kreme is on North Memorial Parkway.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Huntsville’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 17, 2026. We added Edgar’s Bakery, whose own locations page lists two Huntsville stores, Mason Dixon Bakery & Bistro and The Moon Bakeshop from the Downtown Huntsville dining directory, and Cutes and Cakes from the Stovehouse directory. We left out Tous les Jours, Nothing Bundt Cakes and Parlor Doughnuts because their Huntsville pages would not load, and places with no website of their own. The list is alphabetical. Baby Bite Bake Shop on Airport Road has made scratch-made Baby Bites since 2018, with 10 daily flavors, two daily specials and seasonal flavors. It decorates them for parties and weddings.

Canadian Bakin downtown bakes hand-rolled bagels and artisan bread and serves craft coffee and bagel sandwiches. Owner and baker Matt Johnson started at a farmers market and opened the bakery and cafe in spring 2020, it says. Catering and special orders go by email.

Cutes and Cakes at Stovehouse bakes custom cupcakes, cakes and cookies for occasions or a treat, the Stovehouse directory says.

Edgar’s Bakery is an Alabama bakery chain with two Huntsville stores, on Airport Road and on Providence Main Street. It ships nationwide and has a party room; the phone number is shared across its stores.

Krispy Kreme on North Memorial Parkway is the doughnut chain’s Huntsville shop, taking pickup and delivery orders online.

Mason Dixon Bakery & Bistro on Church Street bakes cakes, take-home breads, biscuits, cinnamon rolls, quiches and scones, with gluten-free bread among them. It also caters and bakes wedding cakes.

The Moon Bakeshop is a family-owned downtown bakery with Southern-influenced and European-inspired baked goods, and it takes preorders through its site.
