13 Mexican and Tex-Mex restaurants in Huntsville, with hours from their own sites: University Drive, downtown, Clinton Avenue, Stovehouse and Hampton Cove.
Last checked 2026-10-17. Refreshed every three months.
Huntsville’s Mexican and Tex-Mex restaurants cluster on University Drive, from Los Jarochos at No. 2204 to Rosie’s at No. 6196. Downtown has Del Chuco on the square and Barracuda Taco Stand on Meridian Street, and West Huntsville has two at Campus 805 and Stovehouse.
How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Huntsville’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 17, 2026. We added Del Chuco and Barracuda Taco Stand from the Downtown Huntsville dining directory, Hops n Guac from the Campus 805 directory and Taqueria El Cazador from the Stovehouse directory, each confirmed on its own page. We left out Chuy’s, Phil Sandoval’s, Taco Mama, Casa Blanca, Local Taco and El Vaquero because their location pages would not load or would not give us a Huntsville address, and places with no website of their own. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Run one of these places? Write to us to correct your entry.
